July's Adventures

This 4th of July we had fun hanging out with family, fishing and having Roman Candle wars!

This is Sandi in her 4th get-up:)
When we went to Salina Sandi got to ride the tractor with her Grandpa Robins. It didn't last long, she got scared and started crying.Grandpa Robins took us up the mountain to go fishing. Sandi loved it!
Sandi's new thing is to help me do dishes. She wears them as I'm trying to put them away:)
Blackberries anyone?! Our girl loves berries.

For the 24th of July we went to Aaron's old stomping grounds and had a blast with all the festivities there. It's tradition to do the basketball tournament the night before and then we do the parade, park festivities/BBQ, either go river rafting or fishing and then fireworks. This year we went to his brother's new home in Beaver to watch fireworks and Sandi had the time of her life playing with cousins.

Sandi and her cousin Owen
(She adores this little guy so much, they're only 3 wks apart and he puts up with her so well)

Sandi got to meet cousins from Arizona for the first time and they loved playing with her and she of course loved the attention.

Taking a little snooze before the big firework show.

Aaron and his brother Seth

Aaron whipped out the sparklers for all the kids as pre-show activity

Sandi's opinion of the fireworks!!
(She actually really liked them, she was just mad we turned her away from them for the picture)
Next adventure is the annual Owens reunion so we needed to get Sandi a life jacket for the fishing boat. We thought she would hate it so we tested it out right after we bought it and she couldn't get enough of the gigantic thing:) It's like a fixed chew toy right by her mouth!
